OWB holsters are so-called OUTSIDE THE WAISTBAND holsters and are worn on the outside of the waistband.
The holster can be equipped with an additional retention system, either via a thumb break (loop safety) or a bungee cord. The preferred option is a semi-automatic thumb break that releases at the push of a button.

Retention of the firearm can be individually adjusted by generally two (2) screws
All OWB holsters can be customized with holes compatible with the most common brands of belt attachments (MULTI). This means the holster can be mounted on Blackhawk, G-Code, Safariland, and Blade Tech systems. This allows the holster to be taken with you if you change systems and doesn't need to be replaced.
